MOT Service Centre
Welcome to the MOT Service Centre. Once your vehicle is three years or older you are required by law to have an annual safety check called the Ministry of Transport test. This test is more commonly known as the MOT Test. The purpose of the MOT test is to make sure that the vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law as a result the car is put through a set of tests to ensure it is road worthy and safe to drive.
As a driver, it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is examined every 12 months. Therefore without a current MOT certificate, you will be unable to drive your vehicle lawfully or renew your road fund license.
Hatch Autos carry out MOT tests for all Class 4 vehicles (cars up to 8 passenger seats). Customers can see the prices we charge for MOT tests and also click on the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency Below (VOSA) to download a PDF of our MOT Test Fees. All rates are exclusive of VAT.
Whilst we charge the recommended amount, we are unlike most other discount MOT centres where if minor amendments are required to ensure the car passes the MOT. Normally we will correct minor issues free of charge. Also providing MOT retests for free for vehicles that fail an MOT when you have the repair carried out by us.
